Canvas and The Extension

Since 2007 Canvas has actively been involved with The Extension and has employed and worked with many men and women while they are in recovery and many who have remained with us long after their treatment has finished, we are honored to be involved in their lives, and humbled to be able to watch as God himself changes the hearts of those He cares for so much. The Extension is a non-profit, community-supported organization serving Cobb County and the entire metropolitan Atlanta area, whose mission is to facilitate a transformation that empowers chemically dependent men and women to become sober, accountable members of society and to serve as a recovery resource for the community. The Extension provides addiction recovery services through a comprehensive Residential Recovery Program for homeless men and women, outpatient counseling and various outreach initiatives.

How Can Canvas Help?

At Canvas Cafe and Bakery we are dedicated to working for and working with our community, if your organization believes that Canvas can be of help please take email us at catering@canvasfoods.com. Please be as specific as possible with what you think Canvas may be able to do to help. We have a Donation Request Board, made up of the owners, a couple of staff members and our marketing company, who will review the request and decide if we can help. All requests must be submitted a minimum of 30 days from the scheduled date of need.

Please understand that not all requests can be met, as we are asked to be involved in so many opportunities. We would love to get involved in every great and positive opportunity that comes our way, but that would be impossible. If we do decide to assist your organization, a Canvas staff member will be in touch with you to discuss the details of your needs, and to make final arrangements.
